Payment Policy
There is one payment moment on this site, at checkout, and this page describes it.
What we accept
Checkout accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express, plus WeChat Pay, Klarna and Afterpay. Payments are processed by Airwallex on its hosted form. Anything not listed here is not accepted, however a button may be labelled elsewhere on the internet.
Currency
All charges are in United States dollars (USD). If your card is issued outside the US, your bank sets the conversion rate and may add its own foreign transaction fee; that fee is theirs, not ours.
When you are charged
Once, at checkout, for the full amount shown in the cart. We do not pre-authorise and re-charge, and we do not bill on dispatch.
Card security
Card details are entered on the payment provider’s hosted form and processed on their PCI DSS compliant systems. This website never receives, stores or logs a full card number. The connection is encrypted end to end.
Declines and verification
If a payment is declined, no order is created and no money leaves your account; a pending authorisation may appear briefly and then drop off. Large or unusual orders occasionally trigger a manual check. If that happens we email you within 1 business day rather than cancel silently.
Sales tax and surcharges
Sales tax is not added at checkout: the price you see in the cart is the total you pay. There are no card surcharges.
Refunds
Refunds go back to the card or account used for the original payment; we cannot send a refund anywhere else. Timing is on the Refund and Returns Policy page.
